The best place to start is with the USHMM’s Guidelines for Teaching the Holocaust. This information provides a sturdy foundation for educators news to teaching the Holocaust.

I am a huge fan of the USHMM’s Guidelines for Teaching the Holocaust.  They offer an excellent pathway for how to navigate this complex topic.  I refer to them all of the time.  I especially appreciate the idea of translating statistics into real people (and stories), which makes learning about this topic more personal and human.
